Worksheets For ReadingWelcome to our worksheets for reading. Different story selections are listed below. Each story has corresponding worksheets for reading. These worksheets are designed to make the student think about the words they are reading. Many of the questions ask the student what sound a letter or letter combination makes in a word they have read in the story. This requires them to sound out the word and listen carefully to the letter sounds. Some questions as for word definitions to make sure the student understands what they are reading. Other questions are about the story itself to help with comprehension. An answer key is provided. For most questions the answer is given and then the student is referred to the Academic Associates Rule Card that deals with that sound. In rare cases, a student will need the Academic Associate Rule Cards to understand the answer. Academic Associate Rule Cards which are only available to enrolled students.
